How to escape The Locust's Manor
Every map has its own way out: keys to find, levers to pull, codes to solve, and engines to fix. Below is what you need for each one, straight from the devs.
What you need in each map
| Map | Monster | To escape |
|---|---|---|
| The Manor | The Locust (or the one chosen in the lobby) | 6 keys and 5 levers |
| The Backrooms | The Locust (or the one chosen in the lobby) | 5 keys, no levers |
| The Poolrooms | The Locust (or the one chosen in the lobby) | 3 statues on pillars and 3 valves |
| The End | None in the first part, then The Locust (or chosen monster) | two colored tile codes |
| The Forest | The Locust (or the one chosen in the lobby) | around 6 generators, or fix the camper |
| The School | The Cat in the Hat, always | 6–8 generators to rewire and 4 keys |
Before starting: the lobby
In the lobby, choose the map and difficulty. The default enemy is usually The Locust, but you can change it or add other monsters to the match. The School is an exception, where it's always The Cat in the Hat.
Rules that apply everywhere
- Listen. Footsteps and noises tell you when someone is coming before you even see them.
- Hide. Closets and dark corners are the right place when you're being hunted.
- Run and slide. Sliding helps you lose them in chases; the flashlight helps in the darkest areas.
- Split up the work. In a team, one searches while one keeps an eye on the monster: you'll finish faster and take fewer risks.
Map by Map
Each map has a page explaining the objective step by step.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the official Wiki for The Locust's Manor?
This one, on thelocustsmanor.com: we maintain it on behalf of the developer, Briz_developer, and Briz_developer's YouTube channel links to it. Other sites with "Locust's Manor" and "wiki" in the name are not official. The official Wiki never asks you to install programs, extensions, or "ad managers": if a site does, close it and don't install anything.
Can I choose the monster?
Yes, in the lobby: you can change the enemy or add others. Only in The School is the monster fixed: The Cat in the Hat.
What is the easiest map to start with?
The End: there are no monsters in the first part, so you can take your time learning how the codes work.
In The Forest, do I have to do both the generators and the camper?
No, it's one or the other: either you turn on about six generators, or you fix the camper and everyone escapes together.
Are The Locust's Manor and Locust Manor the same game?
Yes. The official name is The Locust's Manor, but many players and YouTubers write it as The Locust Manor or Locust Manor: it is always the horror game by Briz_developer on Roblox.
